Principles of Equality.fi

The purpose of the website is to gather a variety of material under one roof, all dealing, nevertheless, with discrimination and equality from a horizontal perspective, acknowledging multiple discrimination, mainstreaming and close cooperation with different minorities.

There is a wealth of material on the Internet related to diversity, for example, multiculturalism or globalisation. You will find links to some of these sites on the Linkspage. There is also a lot of excellent material on gender equality, which is the reason why this website does not cover the aspect in detail. Further information can be found, for example, on the Minna-portal(in Finnish) or at the Ministry for Health and Social Affairswebsite.
